How is that possible? Just a few years ago I was impatiently climbing the corporate ladder. I had no time, not only for proper meals, but also for my own health and well-being. Fatigue even after a long night’s sleep? Probably stress. Irregular cycle? Must be the pace of life. Digestive issues? Maybe I ate something bad again.
The breaking point came when the symptoms started to interfere with my work. I approached the problem like I would in the corporate world, task-oriented. Hoping for quick answers and simple solutions, I scheduled medical appointments.
Office after office. Different answers, completely different solutions. Is it IBS or SIBO? No period – is it a cause or a consequence? Or maybe just my bad luck? I got yet another pill, just to forget about the symptoms for a while.
I said ENOUGH!
